Project Details
Bayer Vapi Private Limited is a 100% owned subsidiary of Bayer. The company’s headquarters and production site are located at Vapi, on the west coast of India in Gujarat. Bayer Vapi Private Limited is engaged in the manufacture of active ingredients and its intermediates are used in a wide array of agricultural and environmental protection products. It is also the single largest Synthetic Pyrethroids production facility in the world.
Vapi is in an area that suffers greatly from corrosion due its coastal location and industrial belt. Due to severe corrosion failures, the client wanted a fool-proof system which will work for cooling tower structures. The corrosion issue is aggravated due to continuous flow of water over these structures.
After a close consultation with the site head/engineering team, and a discussion about our products and services, along with a demo to show how easy it is to implement on site in-situ, they approved our system which consists of Denso Hi-Tack Tape™ and Denso Hi-Tack Primer™.
