Project Details
Denso South Africa was chosen to supply their Premier Butyl Tape System™ for the protection of the 520m, 24” diameter Sasol Gas pipeline. The contractor (WK Construction) was appointed to apply the corrosion prevention coating.
A total of 3,505 sq.m of butyl tape and 220 litres of primer was used on the project. Contractor WK Construction used Densoman™ Wrapping Machines to speed up the Premier Butyl Tape System application.
